Has it already been a year?
It has--one year since I've decided to be a storyteller using my camera as the pen. It has been quite a journey.
I was so fortunate to be able to host my first workshop this past June! I want to send a special thank you to all my vendors, participating photographers and guest speaker for all their investment and hard work.

Yeng Lor former wedding photographer extraordinaire: Yeng Lor Photography
Our day started at about 11:00am at Studio Apparatus (Shout out to owners David and Elliott for always providing a good time!) for appetizer hour, Q&A's and our guest speaker portion. I cannot say enough good things about Yeng Lor! Thank you for your time and sharing your story during this workshop.
Here are a few favorites and BTS photos from the studio:
Studio time consisted of a group collaboration and then one on one time with the Bride and Groom.
A social media contest also took place, challenging every photographer to step out of their comfort zone to edit a capture ONLY ON THEIR PHONE. Whoever received the most likes by the end of the worskshop day, would win a $50.00 giftcard to Target.
We wrapped up our bags and creative heads at the studio around 6:00pm and headed to Hansen Tree Farm in Anoka to catch the golden hour. Let's just say, we made the right choice in this location :)
It was such a great experience to host something like this. I learn something new every time I connect with other creatives. Thank you again to everyone for being a part of this collaboration!
Mai Xong Vue of Mai Xong Vue Photography won the social media challenge!! Great job girl!
